53 Princetonians Join Captain Carlsen Club

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Tigers are turning out in full force for the newly formed Captain Carleen Club, Already, 53 undergraduates have registered for the C.C.C., the Daily Princetonian reports.

Most of the registrants stated that their interest is due to the admiration they hold for the gallant commander who risked his life to save his ship.

However, one freshman felt that Carlsen "represents the symbol of a rising Americanism. I suppose that's nationalism," he said, "but that's what I stand for."

Many of the students wanted some kind of local observance of the Captain's return to the United States.
