Eliot House stepped into first place in the House hockey league yesterday morning by dropping the Leverett sextet, 3 to 2.

Goalie Mike Jackson carried off defensive honors for the Elephants. Eliot goals were scored by Dean Howells, Fred Rhinelander, and Mike Ward. The Elephants took the lead late in the first period, and clinched the victory midway in the second.
