Council to Elect Officers Tonight

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Student Council's administration changes hands tonight as 12 men compete for election to the three top posts. Richard M. Sandler '52 and Louis B. McCagg '52 bow out as president and secretary respectively. Treasurer Richard E. Johnson '52 is a leading contender in the 1952-53 Council presidential race.

The presidency will probably go to one of the eight eligible juniors. The two positions of treasurer and secretary are traditionally open to both juniors and sophomores. Only elected members--the eight House and four class representatives--may run for these positions.

Last year, in a surprise move, the Council voted to hold its election of of-campaigning.
