Dr. George P. Berry, dean of the Medical School, announced an appointment and a promotion in his faculty yesterday.

An associate professor of Comparative Pharmacology since 1940, Dr. Otto Krayer has been moved up to a full professorship, where he will continue research on the organic effect of drugs.

Named to the Pathology department as associate professor was Dr. Clinton V. Z. Hawn of Cooperstown, N.Y. Simultaneously with his appointment to the Medical School he was also named by the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital of Boston as pathologist in chief.
