Although the carving for the World War II memorial is all finished and the plaques have been installed in their places on the wall of Memorial Church, the unveiling will probably not be held until next November, it was learned yesterday.
Originally scheduled to be finished last September, delays in the acquiring and carving of the marble, and labor difficulties have held up the completion of the project, architect Henry R. Shepley '10, said yesterday.
The actual carving was begun and completed this spring, but the letters must be filled in so as to be visible before the memorial will be ready.
