Yale's varsity and freshman golf teams trounced the Crimson Saturday on the Dedham course, 5 to 2 and 6 to 1, respectively. Dave Hedberg and Captain Doug Wilde, playing second and third, won the only matches for the varsity, while Tom Monfried was the only Yardling winner.

Hodberg defeated his opponent, Frank Simon, 3 and 1, while Wilde was topping George Fayen, 3 and 2. The other matches went to the Elis by good margins, most of them on the 15th hole.
