'54 Lacrosse Players Succumb to Yale, 9-7

Yale defeated, the Yardling lacrosse team, 9 to 7, on the Business School Field Saturday. The game, last of the season, gave the freshmen a six win, six loss, record.

During the first quarter the freshmen turned in their finest performance of the season. Phil Waring Chuck Edward, and Captain Monk Aiello each notched one when the period ended with the Crimson ahead, 3 to 0.

Except for a brief last-minute drive in the final minutes of the game, the freshmen left down and the Bullpups controlled the play.
