Undefeated Eliot and Kirkland tennis teams each took their fourth straight wins yesterday. The Elephants crushed the Funsters, 7 to 0, while the Deacons beat the Puritans by the same score.
Winners for Eliot were, Dick Gofshalt, Pete Baker, Fulton Sears, Steve Rosenfeld, Jim Heighman, Lou Tiger, and Jim Davis. The first three men won by default.
Roger Swanson, John Tangen, Lew Cowan, Dick Upjohn, Al Cohn, Tom Hoya, and Pen White won their matches for the Deacons. Eliot, Kirkland, and Lowell are now tied for first place in the league.
