George Miller of Eliot House yesterday took first place in the inter-House wherry preliminaries. Other finalists are Dick Fouquet of Dunster House, Lee Segal of Leverett House, and Nick Reinhardt of Kirkland. Bruce Beal, Gregorio Escalente, and Arnold Glendinning will row in the freshman finals. The final regatta will be held Thursday.
Leverett topped Lowell in baseball and softball, 3 to 2 and 13 to 6. Adams and Eliot teams tied 3 to 3, but the gold Coasters edged the Elephants by one run in softball, 22 to 21.
Dunster's tennis team whipped Dudley, 6 to 1. Kirkland beat Eliot in tennis by a 4 to 3 score.
