Ann Crawford of the Westridge School in Pasadena, California, has won first people in the Radcliffe English prize scholarship examination, Dean Kerby-Miller announced yesterday.
Second and third prize papers went to Mary Harnett of the Washington and Lee High School, Arlington, Virginia, and Phyllis La Farge of the Spence School, New York City.
The scholarship carries a maximum stipend of $900.
