Pltirim A. Sorokin, professor of Sociology, joined yesterday in a demand for "a recognition of our own tremendous guilt and a desire to repent" in our foreign policy.

"A repentant America whose democracy was no longer confused with maintaining imperialism or perpetuating poverty among potential enemies or preparing for a global war could take the initiative away from Russia, whose sole virtue to many people is her willingness to help them get rid of their present rulers," the joint report said.
