Ray Maesaka slid home in today's practice, and broke his leg just above the ankle in doing so, so the freshman baseball team will be without his services at third base today and for the rest of the season.
Jeb Bray will be at third in his place when the '54 nine meets Boston Teachers' College here at 3:45 p.m. Joe Oakley will start for the first time at second base. Ailing Jim Kiggen and Howie Shurdut were released yesterday from Stillman, but are not yet in playing condition.
