The graduate student accused of stealing $700 from the University will at last come to trial today. Proceedings start at 9:30 a.m. in the Middlesex County Superior Court at Third and Spring Streets in East Cambridge.
The student, Albert C. Knaus, Jr. 1E, has had his trial put off several--times since he was arraigned January 16. He obtained the delays because some of his witnesses could not appear until now.

Arrested January 15, Knaus was booked on 11 counts of larcency and 11 counts of forgery and utterance. He allegedly took 13 checks while working as a carrier for the University Mail Service and cashed them after forging endorsements' at the Cambridge Trust Company.
