Scheide's Cornets Will Toot As Bock Meets Bach on Charles

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Schneider's Silver Cornet Band will open its 144th somewhat consecutive season at 3 p.m. tomorrow afternoon on the banks of the Charles.

Contacted last night director Johann Wolfgang Schneider, world-famous blower and Bock enthusiast, said that his band would render everything it could lay its hands on. "We'll tear through Souse and Schlitz with equal fervor," he said, "and anything else we can see--which won't be much by 4 p.m."

Schneider's outfit, composed mostly of mostly remnants of the University Band, is a continuation of the original group perpetrated in 1807.
