MIT Wins Draw; Gets Race Lane 4

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The M.I.T. crew last night drew lane number four, close to the Boston shore, considered to have the psychological advantage, for the international regatta here tomorrow. Harvard drew lane three, Cambridge lane two, and Boston University lane one.

Meanwhile, the Cambridge police announced yesterday that one-way traffic would be placed in effect on Memorial Drive from 4:30 p.m. between the Harvard and Lars Anderson bridges.

An added attraction before the main racing event will be the one-mile single sculls race between Jack King, the British crew's extra man, and Dave Jeffries '46, captain of the Union Boat Club.

Harvard captain Ollie Iselin, will be unable to race because of an attack of the fin.
