Another war assignment has been given to the Business School's recently formed Mobilization Center, Secretary of Commerce Charles Sawyer announced yesterday.
The new project is a review of United States international air transportation policy to determine its fitness for mobilization demands.
Paul W. Cherington '40, assistant professor of research in Business Administration, will head the survey, which will have the cooperation of the State Department and the Civil Aeronautics Board. Five civilian advisers will issue a preliminary report within 90 days.
The advisers are: George A. Brownell '19, former air force brigadier general; William A. M. Burden '27, former assistant Secretary of Commerce for aviation; John C. Cooper of the Princeton Institute for Advanced Study; Harold Jones, former member of the Civil Aeronautics Board; and L. Welch Pogue, former chairman of the Civil Aeronautics Board.
