Fifteen more students will receive acceptance letters from the Harvard Medical School this year than did last, Dr. Kendall Emerson, Dean of Admissions, revealed last night.

The admission of these people is a gesture toward coping with the increase of 500 applicants for the 1951-52 term, he said. A committee decided after a survey of the school that no more than 15 additional students could be admitted without drastic expansion of the school's facilities.
