Police Lose Track of Claverly Hall Arsonist

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Cambridge police are stymied in their investigation of last month's two Claverly fires, Detective Captain Patrick F. Ready revealed last night.

"Things looked good for a while," Ready commented, "but we seem to be at a dead end right now." Both the police department and State Fire Marshall's office will continue their investigations, Ready added.

Police had previously questioned several Claverly residents and also a former student, but had received only "background information."

A third fire recently was extinguished by students without firemen's aid.
