Archibald MacLeish, Boylston Professor of Rhetoric and Oratory, will speak at Radcliffe's Commencement Exercises, it was announced yesterday. President Jordan will be the Baccalaureate speaker.
Commencement activities will start June 16, with a luncheon in Memorial Hall instead of the traditional formal banquet.
Class Night, June 19, will open with the traditional lantern procession, step singing, and parents' reception.
Other Commencement events are scheduled as follows: June 16, at 8 p.m., a program by the Class of 1926, celebrating its 25th Reunion, to which the Seniors and their guests are invited; June 17, at 5 p.m., Baccalaureate Exercises in Memorial Church; June 20, at 11 a.m., Commencement in Sanders Theatre; after Commencement, a luncheon for the graduating class in the Quadrangle dormitories.
