Kittredge's 46 Points Tops Six in Scoring for Season

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

First-line forward Joe Kittredge led the varsity hockey team in scoring for the second straight year, according to final figures released yesterday by the Athletic Association's Statistics Bureau.

Kittredge's goals for this year, 32, almost surpassed his entire point total for last season, 34. The left-handed shooting senior added 14 assists to bring his final total to 46 points. But Kittredge played in 23 games this year and only 17 in the 1949-50 season.

Captain Low Preston, who shared the first line center and left wing slots with Kittredge, combined 18 assists--a team high--and nine goals for 27 points and second place.

John White and Hal Marshall tied for third with 26 points each. White's feat was particularly outstanding, as he had never played organized hockey before this year, and further played eight of the team's 23 games on defense.

Amory Hubbard was the only non-senior to top 20 points. He got 23, as did Bob DiBlasio. Hubbard had the highest single game total, with seven points against Williams, including six goals.
