To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

I am hurriedly writing to you with reference to the last sentence of the caption appearing beneath your rehearsal photo of "Dark of the Moon." The sentence reads, "In the scene preceding the one above, Miss Northrup is raped on stage."

Let me hasten to assure the family and friends of Miss Northrup that (to the best of our knowledge) her chastity shall be when the play has run its final performance as it was before rehearsals began.

To be sure, in the scene to which you refer, Barbara Allen (played by Miss Northrup) does find herself in a rather compromising position.
