Captain Henry Foster maintained Crimson squash dominance yesterday as he won the National Intercollegiate Squash championship at Williams, defeating teammate Charley Ufford, 15-9, 15-10, 15-8, in the finals.
Earlier in the day top-ranked Foster blanked third-seeded Blair Murphy of Yale in a semi-final match. Ufford, unseeded in the tournament, played brilliantly to edge second-ranked Bill Smith of Amherst in the other semi-final match. Foster and Ufford had previously helped the Crimson varsity win both the intercollegiate and national team titles.
