Yale Starts Course in Judo

Judo returned as a part of the curriculum at Yale yesterday. The course is open to both undergraduate and graduate students with full course credit.

The course first came about during World War II when the method of self defense was taught to Navy V-12 students. Robert Hall, chairman of the board of athletic control, announced that John O'Donnell, Yale wrestling coach, would be in charge.
