Dudley's unbeaten hockey team moved a step nearer the pennant yesterday, blanking previously undefeated Lowell, 4 to 0, at the Boston Skating Club. Neil Howland scored two goals to pace the Commuters to their fifth win.

In the afternoon games at the Arena, second place Winthrop rallied to beat Adams, 5 to 2, and Eliot squeezed out a 3 to 2 victory over Leverett. Fritz Drill's three goals led Winthrop's scoring.

'B' Basketball

Kirkland's 'B' basketball team defeated Dunster, 32 to 27, yesterday, to win the league championship. After trailing, 14 to 8 at the half, the Deacons scored four quick fast-break baskets to take the lead.

'C' Squash

In the House 'C' squash league yesterday, Lowell defeated Kirkland, 3 to 2, Dunster beat Eliot, 4 to 1, and Winthrop upset Adams, 3 to 2. Lowell is now in first place, with Adams and Dunster in a close race for second place. Monday Kirkland's 'A' and 'B' squash teams defeated two Lowell teams, 5-0.
