Radcliffe Student Council yesterday applauded a new proposal by President Jordan to begin a series of informal non-credit seminars on the college woman's role in society.
Following a semi-General Education pattern, the seminars would emphasize ideas to the exclusion of historical facts. They would not be connected in any way with a somewhat similar course dealing with current great issues, proposed by the Annex Council last fall.
"Women have taken over the responsibility for making America tick," Jordan said. He suggested that the seminars should supplement courses in the curriculum by providing "Knowledge of realities." They will be open to Radcliffe students only.
