A large turnout of donors, and a shortage of Red Cross workers, combined to give the Red Cross and Phillips Brooks House a busy afternoon yesterday. Despite the jam, 407 pints of blood were collected, bringing the total number to 834.

The Red Cross expects to collect another 400 pints tomorrow, according to Philip Levin '53, one of the drive chairmen.
