This will be Professor James B. Munn's last year of teaching English 1, Professor B. J. Whiting, chairman of the English Department told the CRIMSON Wednesday.
Munn has been teaching the course, a basic requirement for all English concentrators, for the past five years. But it is the policy of the Department, Whiting said, not to allow one man to conduct the course for more than five years.
Whiting added that Munn's successor had not yet been chosen.
