Tickets for Open Contest Won't Be Put On Sale Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

No tickets will go on sale today for the Open game on November 3, ticket director Frank O. Lunden announced yesterday.

Because of the unprecedented demand for seats, Lunden has revealed that he will dispense with the usual method of ducat distribution. "There's no problem to speak of, "Lunden said," just no problem at all."

The traditional Open game has not been held since before the war, and the revival of this colorful event on the football schedule should draw an unexpectedly large crowd.
