Election results of the 29-man Freshman Union Committee were announced yesterday, shortly preceding its first meeting.

A majority of the Yard dormitories are represented by two members, although Lionel, Massachusetts, and Mower each have one delegate, and Matthews and Thayer have three

Four of the Committee men, William D. Coakley, Leonard B. Shulman, Donald H. Tavel, and John F. Ward, are commuters.

Wigglesworth has still to run-off an election to determine its fourth delegate. Leonard Wheeler and Wesley Johnston of H. J. and K entries received an equal number of votes.

Under the supervision of Daniel L. Rihhie '54, last year's a Chairman and Student Council Chairman of Freshman Activities, the Committee members split into groups and began work on the October 27 Union Dance

The 54 Committee has already put up some posters and contracted an orchestra for the coming dance. The remaining work will be done by the ticket committee, Richard A. Jones, Chairman; the refreshments committee, Eugene P. Heytow, Chairman; the legal committee, Robert Wrong, Chairman; the financial committee, Leonard B. Shulman, Chairman; and the publicity committee, Fritz Bach, Chairman.
