Nichols Beats J.V. Eleven; '55 Meets Worcester Here

Local football fans will get their first chance to see the freshman eleven in action at 2 p.m. today when the '55 team takes on a strong Worcester Academy squad. In the absence of the varsity the game will be held in the Stadium.

Yardling coach Bob Margarita has been working the team hard since its loss to Andover a week ago, and seems pleased with its improvement. In today's game he will continue to use as many men as possible, while concentrating on the attack. Margarita was satisfied with last week's defensive line.

The Worcester eleven is reportedly one of the strongest in New England. It has a large line and fast backs. In its opener against Northeastern freshmen last week, it romped to an easy 38 to 0 victory, using second-and-third-stringers throughout much of the last half. Fullback Don Wallman scored three times against the Husky Cubs.
