President Henry M. Wriston of Brown thinks students contemplating enlistment should sit tight and wait for a new Selective Service Act. Wriston, in a statement last week, warned that nobody yet knows the terms of the forthcoming draft act; he suggested that both "duty and enlightened selfishness indicate that the student should remain at his books."
Wriston pointed out that no Brown students had yet been drafted under the present draft law, and that students in good standing would be deferred until June.
