Glee Club Heralds Spring

Before Widener Library was built, the Glee Club used to serenade the student body each Spring in front of Holworthy Hall. During the weeks the traditional Spring concerts will be held on the steps of Widener where they have been given for more than 20 years.

On the next three Tuesday evenings, May 9, 16, and 23, they will offer mixed programs of popular and classical pieces. At the close of each program, students are invited to stand on the steps with the Glee Club and join in the singing of College songs.

The Jubilee Weekend crowd will also hear the singers perform by the bank of the Charles, Friday and Saturday. In the event of rain the concert will be omitted from the schedule.
