Clarence O. Ferguson '21 has been elected president of the Legal Aid Bureau for the coming year, it was announced yesterday.
The Legal Aid Bureau is staffed by high-ranking Law School students who provide legal assistance to Cambridge and Boston residents who cannot afford lawyers.
Other new officers of the group, all second year law students, are:
John F. T. Murray, vice-president; Robert B. McDermott, secretary; Jay J. Newman, treasurer; John S. Nolan, senior director; and John J. Hanson '46 and Phillip J. Nexon, junior directors.
