Five Nominated For U.N., State Dept. Posts

The University selection board has nominated five men for State Department and United Nations internship programs, Daniel S. Cheever '39, assistant professor of Government, announced yesterday.

For the U.N. program, the board nominated Nicholas A. Wahl 1G, for the State Department James E. Knott 2G and Melville J. Kahn 2G. Robert L. Lasky '51 received the nomination for the department's summer student assistant program and David J. Carpenter 1G for the professor-student seminar.

These nominations are now being considered along with those from other colleges by the department's personnel divan.

Applicants who did not receive nominations can retrieve their applications and transcripts from Littauer 127.
