Four Undergraduates Receive ROTC Awards

Four members of the University ROTC received medals in a formal presentation on the lacrosse field Tuesday.

Donald T. Fox, Jr. '51 was awarded the Air Force Reserve Association's medal for the senior ROTC student showing "excellence in leadership, scholastics, military bearing, discipline, and related traits." Professor W. Barton Leach '21 of the Law School, a Brigadier General in the Air Force Reserve, made the presentation.

Three freshman received medals for "excellence in the school of the soldier." First award went to Hans G. E. Hagon, second to William J. Burns, and third to David M. Hersey. Dean Leighton presented these awards.
