Nearly 450 Radcliffe girls turned out to be X-rayed at the mobile tuberculosis unit stationed behind the Health Center yesterday and Monday. Barbara Newman '51, president of the Student Health Service, stated that the commuters gave the strongest support, with nearly 100 percent attendance.
Miss Newman also expressed surprise at the large turnout of graduate students. Because of the number of girls participating, the Health Service plans to hold an X-ray campaign every two years.
