To the Editor of the CRIMSON:
We have had the Student Council with us for a long time. This fact alone has deterred many people who might otherwise have signed the current petition for its abolition . . . Careful consideration of the facts proves unquestionably that there is nothing that the Student Council does which would not either be done better by someone else or be better not done at all . . .
. . . It would be the greatest service ever performed by one generation of undergraduates to its successors if this petition is supported and its purpose accomplished. M. O. Young '51
