'51 Nominates 19 For Council Posts

A 12-man 1951 Nominating Committee named 19 juniors as candidates for Student Council in a meeting last night in Kirkland House.

To appear on the ballot, they must file a formal acceptance at the Council office in Phillips Brooks House by 5 p.m. next Friday. Elections are Thursday, May 4.

The following students were nominated: James E. Barrett, Jr., Robert N. Berke, Samuel C. Butler, George Cloutier, John Cowles, Robert V. DiBlasio, Robert A. Feldman, Frederick Fialkow, Donald T. Fox, Roy M. Goodman.

Also Richard W. Hulbert, A. Dwight Hyde, Robert P. Hyde, Philip Isenberg, James Johnson, William VanH. Mason, John C. Pittenger, Richard Reynolds, and Henry M. Silvera.

Other juniors who want to be on the ballot must file a petition with 25 names to the Council office by 5 p.m., April 28.

The 1953 Nominating Committee will meet tomorrow night.
