John G. Morey '52 and Lester L. Ward '52 beat a team from City College of New York in a debate held here last night on the topic: "Resolved, That the U.S. should nationalize all basic non-agricultural industries."

C.C.N.Y. has been touring New England this week. The Beavers have decided most of the colleges in the Boston area within the past few days.

Morey and Ward, arguing the affirmative, maintained that when industry is operated for private profit, the public is, in the long run, the loser.
