Francis T. Spaulding '17, dean of the Graduate School of Education from 1936 until 1942, died Saturday in Center Harbor, New Hampshire.
Spaulding, who was New York State Education Commissioner and president of the University of the State of New York at the time of his death, was a candidate for overseer last year.
