Ivy Films and Harvard Yearbook publications elected their new officers at meetings held last night.
George M. Kurson '50 replaces Lauriston Ward '50 as president of Ivy Films. Dick V. Blumenthal '51, was voted vice-President; Norman H. Hagstrom, '52, Treasurer; and H. Laurence, Oagood '50, Secretary. The retiring officers are the last founders of the three year-old organization remaining in the College.
Yearbook Publications voted David P. Lighthall '50, President; James G. Wadell '51, Managing Editor; Richard A. Van Deuren '51, Business Manager; Robert D. Milne '51, Photography Editor; and William N. Morgan '52, Art Editor.
'Chances for Fame
Screen tests for Ivy Films' new comedy production began yesterday afternoon, retiring president Ward announced. The stars for the comedy will come from the College and Radcliffe, and are expected to have little or no movie acting experience.
Shooting will start some time after Easter, and the production is expected to be ready for release before the end of the term.
