The Germanic Museum received a $200,000 endowment last week from Mrs. Edmee Buach Greenough. One of several gifts to the museum by Mrs. Greenough, it will be known as the Edmee Busch Greenough Endowment Fund.

The museum serves both the Department of Fine Arts and the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures through its permanent collections and its temporary exhibitions.

Collections of the museum are devoted to illustrating the cultural development of Germany, Scandinavia, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, and Belgium.
