Varsity Favored In Squash Match With Navy Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At full strength for an intercollegiate match for the first time this season, the varsity squash team meets Navy at 2 p.m. today in Hemenway Gym.

The addition of Joe Clark and Henry Foster makes Jack Barnaby's outfit the favorite in today's match. Clark is competing in his first match of the season; both he and Foster are working their way up the ladder since recovering from injuries.

Barnaby's lineup includes Captain Hugh Foster, Hugh Nawn, Henry Foster, Clark, George Plimpton, Jim Racon, Sam Hoar, Wister Wood, and Muggy Mugaseth.

In intercollegiate competition, the varsity has lost only to Williams, while beating Dartmouth, McGill, MIT, Amherst, and Trinity. On Tuesday, the Crimson won a Metropolitan A League engagement which is indicative of its strength since these matches are tougher than many college matches.

Immediately after today's matches, the team will ctcah a 4 p.m. train for New York to take part in a national tournament. Harvard will enter its first five men as a team, with Bacon replacing Plimpton.
