Phillips Brooks House expects that this year's blood donations, an expected 1,371 pints, will be the largest in the University's history.

Blood collection, which begins on Monday, in expected to exceed last year's total by well ever 250 pints. The Massachusetts Red Crozs stated that the University contribution may be the largest single donation over received in the state.

Due to the Korean crisis, the Secretary of Defense has announced that 230 pints of blood are expected from Massachusetts daily. Most blood will be shipped immediately to the batter front. Home blood will also be needed for use in Massachusetts veteran hompliete.
