Blood Collection Expands at PBH

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Phillips Brooks House blood drive has collected 598 pints in the first four days of its annual drive.

Since the total of 198 pints which was donated yesterday greatly exceeded the collection center's normal capacity of 125 pints daily, two extra beds will be used today, and an extra doctor and nurse will be on duty.

Today is the last day of the drive. All blood donated by College students is being shipped for immediate use in Korca.

A record number of undergraduates have volunteered to donate blood this year. Ira H. Poterman '52, chairman of the drive, said the donations were coming in quite well.
