By defeating the Screws, 12 to 9, yesterday afternoon, the Misfits pushed their way into a three-way-tie for first place in the Business School's National touch football league. The Misfits are the only one of the three leading teams without a former college athletic star.
Opposing the Misfits were Screws George Sella, captain of Princeton's football team last year, and John McKenna, end for the same Princeton team.
The third team in the first place tie in the National league are the Intellects, featuring Ford Nadhorny, former Yale fullback, Don Trimble, holder of the Harvard javelin record, and Cliff Crosby, former Harvard basketball player.
Leading the All-American league of the Business School's touch football Conference is the Old Section C team, featuring Dave Padden of Loyola of Chicago.
