Andover's soccer record this season is good indication that the freshmen will have a hard fight on the Blue's Old Campus Field at 1:30 p.m. today.
In six games Andover has lost only to Deerfield, by a 2 to 0 score. But the freshmen, in seven games, also have only one loss to Exeter, 3 to 0. If comparative scores are of any significance, Deerfield beat Exeter 5 to 1.
Four former Andover players will bolster the freshman lineup. Right wing Steve Joyce, team high scorer, and left fullback Charlie Platt will start. Dick Elwell and Bob Carroll will substitute at inside and center forward.
Juan Rodriguez has recovered from a bruised leg and will take over a now post as center forward instead to center half. Bob Dean, a former Exeter player, will be at center half to face his rivals.
