By a vote of eight to two, the Student Council last night decided to tighten its contact with the University delegation to the National Students Association by making the N.S.A. a regular council committee.
Under the now N.S.A. council relationship the chairman of N.S.A. will be an elected or appointed member of the council and will be charged with being the liaison agent between University interests and N.S.A. activities.
Sandler Report
The council enacted its near-annexation of N.S.A. on recommendations submitted in a report on N.S.A. by Richard M. Sandler '52, treasurer of the council. Sandler concluded in his report that "the big problem for the future is really not one of supporting or divorcing N.S.A. but one of how better to integrate N.S.A. at Harvard."
