The '54 soccer team blanked the Brown freshmen, 2 to 0, last Saturday for its sixth win of the season.
Ernie Young scored the first goal on a shot from a mix-up in front of the goal during the second period. In the third period, left outside Juan Vollenwelder scored the second goal on center forward Griff Buttrick's perfect cross-field pass.
Buttrick replaced Juan Rodriguez at center forward, bolstering the Yardling forward line's scoring power with his hard-kicked passes.
