Dartmouth, led by Stan Smiley, fields a powerful squad which can boast of victories over Fordham and Holy Cross. Yale, one of the strongest teams in the East, has handed the Green its only defeat.
"It will be one of our toughest meets," Mikkola said yesterday. The Crimson has been handicapped by cold weather and colds all week, but will start all regular runners today.
Dave Gregory, Dick white, Paul Judy, Dave Cairns, Al Master, Clark Coggeshall, Captain John Pankey, Owen Edmonds, Ted Scudder, Steve Sharp, Goodie Cooks, and Jim Little will run for the varsity.
The Freshman Starters
Hubert Maguire, Captain Emil San Soucie, Bruce Phillips, Leo Carroll, Hal Gerry, Marshall Fichman, Jack Richards, Al Joyce, Dick van Duyne, Thane MacInnes, Dick Engs, and Bob McConaghie are the freshman runners.
